New Jeep® Models in the Works

Here at Mike Toler Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM, we're always on the lookout for news about the latest Jeep models, and we recently got some exciting updates on that front. At least three more models are in development right now, including greener options and the revival of classic nameplates.

The biggest news might be the confirmation of a new three-row SUV. This full-size model would be a completely new Jeep vehicle. We don't doubt it'll offer the features, capabilities, and choices that our favorite Jeep models already provide, just in a slightly more spacious package. It's certainly going to make for a great family car as well. We don't know much about this particular vehicle so far, but we do know that it will be sold as a plug-in hybrid.

Two other Jeep models will also get the hybrid treatment as they revive some classic Jeep nameplates. Way back in 2011, it was confirmed that the Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer were going to make a comeback. The new renditions of both vehicles are finally getting ready to make their debut. Both will be built in the United States, and both will offer a plug-in hybrid option. Either could also end up with an all-electric variant in the near future as well.

A body-on-frame construction method will be used, making them a “true” SUV, and indicating they'll be bred to be off-road capable. We can't wait to see all three of these models in action.
